Wiseman Were won the men’s 400m hurdles with a Meet Record of 49.59 seconds.
The Commonwealth Games 4x400m bronze medalist stated after the sweet victory that brought the ecstatic crowd to the edge of theirs seats: “Winning at home is such a good thing.
“I have already qualified for the World Championships, but I just need to better my tactics so as to represent Kenya well in Budapest.”
Kipkorir Rotich registered a Personal Best of 50.37 for second place.
Third went position went to Edward Ngunjiri in 50.70.
