In a series of celebration gifts to mark their eight years in marriage, musician, Kevin Bahati better known as Bahati on Tuesday the 25th celebrated his wife Diana Marua in a big way.
What started with a series of eight gifts to mark the eight years the two have been in the union culminated with a gift to Diana of a brand-new car, a G-Wagon Brabus estimated at KSh45 million.
As a way of appreciation to his wife Bahati started the gifting season on Valentine’s Day where he gifted her with 8 million shillings, then what followed were a series of other gifts among them a MacBook, a 34-inch wig and a dinner where we proposed for the fifth time.
In a one hour thirty minutes video posted on Diana Bahati’s YouTube channel the couple are seen preparing for the eight surprise from three in the morning where Bahati presents Diana with a present of an imported wig from Canada with both downing clothes in pink which later turned out to coincide with that of the new car.
The day would later see Diana flown with a helicopter to a resort where she was presented with the gift to mark the end of the seven days of gifting.
In an appreciation post on her social media platforms, Diana who reminisced the first time they mate thanked her husband for the man he has become while also thanking God for bringing them together.
“I don’t know what to say. This man was sent from Heaven for me! To love me, to care for me, to protect me, to show off the Glory of God through me,” she captioned her post.
“I knew He was the one for me, the first day we had coffee when he requested me to be his vixen. He was different! He talked to me with so much humbleness. He showed interest later. I was the lavish, worldly kind of a girl. I told God that I’m leaving everything behind to start with this Man, Bahati.”
Diana went on to remember the far the couple has come from living a humble life when starting eight years ago to affording the finer things in life.
“Months passed by that turned to years. I meant my words, God was ‘surprised’ I know. Today, eight years later, I’m living a movie. God has blessed us so much.
“Five Beautiful Brilliant kids, a husband who fears and lives for God. One who stops the world for me, Multiple Houses, Top Range of Cars and a perfect life that is not an inch of what I dreamed about.
“Today, I’m one of the few owners of a G-Wagon Brabus customized for me by my king Bahati.’’
Bahati also announced a big surprise on the 1 March asking his close friends to save the date with many speculating it might be their wedding day.
