Senate grilling: Waititu next on the guillotine over use of county funds

Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is expected to appear before the Public Accounts and Investments Committee to answer to audit queries emanating from the Auditor General’s report.

The 2017/18 financial year report indicted several county bosses over millions of shillings that was not properly accounted for.

Waititu will be facing the committee, chaired by Homabay Senator Moses Kajwang, which has so far grilled Lamu Governor Fahim Twaha and Martin Wambora, among others.
