vThe lawmaker has been allegedly accused of allocating more funds to his constituency during his tenure something that the majority are yet to substantiate as the Auditor General  report shows better use of CDF allocations in Kiharu. Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro faults the government for failing to give him notice of removal from the Budget Committee even as he had better delivery during his tenure.

Addressing the press at his office in Nairobi, the legislature, though giving a wide berth to the Broad-based arrangement sparks, he assured to continue serving his constituents in full capacity in development.

“ I’m saying in good faith, I didn’t come here to accuse anyone today or only came to set the records straight. No one in the leadership of our coalitions from whichever position has ever called me in regards to the position, what I need to do better, regards to things that needed to be done differently,” Nyoro explained.

“It is very good for me to put it into the record because as I said.I was holding this position knowing that I was serving Kenyans. So I’m answerable and in sincerity, say no one ever called  me from decision makers of the coalition to say anything around this.”

In what appears to be a continued overhaul of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s allies, President Ruto has hounded out Kiharu MP, the point man.

The Ruto-Raila pact is gaining roots with goose already cooked for the critics even as the two political bigwigs affirm their focus on ensuring provisions of services to the citizenry.

Though staunch allies of ODM leader Raila Odinga are seemingly securing influential seats in various positions of authority, it is still a game of wait and see if it is viable or it is just a ‘game of thrones.’

“I would implore everyone because I’m not the first one to hold this position respectively. So you can analyze for the past many years that this position has existed, and try to see and compare yourself because many times it is not good to talk about yourself because you are likely to be subjective. To be objective, the data is out there,” he said.

Ndindi Nyoro is currently caught in a storm having been removed from his position as chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee. His close political allies have expressed their shock and revealed some behind-the-scenes details.

“Every politician has their brand of politics. I do not answer evil with evil neither do I answer insults with insults. Basically, we are different and I don’t want to purport to know better what am not, and therefore I’m okay as a leader.”

“You cannot continue being provoked and then you dance to the tune. Also, I want to say that anger and hatred are a heavy burden for any leader to carry negative emotions to the advantage of the distractors. So, it is important in politics you draw your line.”

Nyoro, who is known to be a vocal and defender of UDA is now suffering in the hands of a government he fought so hard to ensure its ascent following a closely contested poll.

“We fought so hard to defeat cartels, tribal politics, and deep states. The biggest beneficiary is a hustler who has been grappling with high taxes and undelivered development,” Nyoro asserted after the 2022 elections.

The lawmaker has been allegedly accused of allocating more funds to his constituency during his tenure something that the majority are yet to substantiate as the Auditor General  report shows better use of CDF allocations in Kiharu.

However, in his rebuttal address, the lawmaker challenged his critics to produce performance cards of how they have use the allocations slamming that they are just busybodying instead of concentrating on their works.

“The records are clear and allocations to each constituency.I did not bribe to be declared the best-performing lawmaker. It is the work in the ground that speaks for itself.”
