Bandari produced at attacking masterclass at the Mbaraki grounds to demolish visiting Western Stima 4-1 to sail to the semi finals of the Sportpesa Shield.
Another Mombasa-based side, Assad FC sealed their last four place after beating local rivals – Congo Boys.
Bandari, who had eliminated mighty Gor Mahia 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, had easy sailing with Shaban Kenga and William Wadri scoring each a goal in the first half to give the home team proper cushioning.
There was no hiding place for the visitors in the second half as the dockers proved too good, Hassan Abdalla and Wycliffe Ochomo adding two more goals for Bandari in the second half.
Henry Onyango pulled one back for Western Stima but the goal could not change the tide of the game.
Bandari coach Bernard Mwalala praised his charges for the win but felt his side should have registered a better score had their strikers been sharp in finishing.
Assad 2 – 1 Congo Boys
Earlier at the same venue, another coastal side Assad were made to struggle before registering a narrow 2-1 win over close neighbours – Congo Boys.
SS Assad had to thank Abdallah Mdeka, who netted a brace to help his side sail to the semis.
The winner of the tournament will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
