Arsenal star, Mesut Ozil, has insisted he has no plans to dump the club in the summer despite failing to nail a regular place under Unai Emery.
Ozil has endured a laborious campaign with the Gunners and was initially linked with a January move to Italian giants, Inter Milan.
The 30-year-old midfielder who is on a £350,000-weekly-wages started just 20 of the 38 Premier League matches and did not feature in the Gunners’ final league clash against Burnley.
He currently has two years left on his current deal with the Emirates outfit, and has maintained he is keen to fight for his place.
“I don’t think there’s a chance of that to be honest,” SunSport quoted Ozil via DAZN Dach.
“I’ve got two more years here and what happens afterwards is not in my hands. We’ll see then, but I’m proud to be at this club and really happy at this club,” he submitted.
The former Germany international was handed a starting role in both legs of their semi-final fixture against Valencia in the Europa League.
He however faces an nervous wait to see if he gets the nod against Chelsea in the final of the European tournament slated for later this month in Baku, Azerbaijan.
