Kivutha Kibwana does it again, this time a milk processor at Kathonzweni.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has hit another milestone confirming his visionary leadership as he presided over the launch of a milk processing plant at Kathonzweni where dairy farmers will have the chance to add value to their produce.

The plant, which has a capacity to pasteurize 1000 litres of milk per hour, is a project courtesy of a partnership between the County Government of Makueni and USAID through the International Livestock and Research Institute(ILRI).

“This is a big step towards achieving the Dairy farmers vision of being the leading cooperative in producing quality and quantity milk in Ukambani,” said the Governor who was accompanied by his deputy Angelina Mwau.
