A man who set his house on fire in Laikipia after he found his wife having sex with another man “in their matrimonial home” will be charged with arson.
Samuel Kibara Nyokabi turned himself in to report that he had razed down his own house out of anger but little did he know that he would be kept in custody.
“Samuel Kibara Nyokabi reported that he had burnt his house in Maina village within Nyahururu town,” read OB 37/20’04/2019 at Nyahururu police station.
“Police rushed to the scene and found Laikipia County Fire Brigade had already put off the fire. The house was reduced to ashes but there was no casualties.”
The whereabouts of the wife and her lover are not yet known.
