Kibra member of parliament Ken Okoth seem to be on a trajectory recovery path going by the pictures shared on social media of him and his Kamkunji counterpart, MP Yusuf Hassan posing on one of the streets Paris ,where he has been for some time seeking medical attention.
Kamkunji MP Yusuf Hassan who took his time to visit and spend the weekend with the ailing legislator informed Kenyans of the MP’s continued improving health and good response to treatment on his social media platforms.
”I spent the weekend visiting my brother the MP for Kibra, Hon Ken Okoth, who is in Paris for medical treatment. In spite of the pain & suffering he has endured, I found him in a cheerful mood and high spirits. He is an extraordinary person with a strong faith and fortitude. remarked Mr Hasan
The two even posed for photos indoors and outdoors, beaming smiles which is indication enough the invalid is doing well as opposed to a picture that surfaced on social media early this month of a frail Ken Okoth after chemotherapy , causing a massive outpour of sympathetic and quick recovery messages by Kenyan netizens.
Impressed Kenyans of all walks wished the legislator quick full recovery to be back and serve his constituents and the country. However they were quick to point out the two to champion for a cancer centre to cater for Kenyans who can’t afford treatment abroad.
Mp Ken Okoth has been out of the country for treatment of Colorectal cancer. He is one of the youngest Members of Parliament and a visionary who describes himself as an educator and humanist.
