Dennis Itumi, the head of digital communication at the presidency, is set to appear in court this morning over charges believed to be in relation to Deputy President William Ruto’s assassination claims.
Itumbi was arrested by DCI detectives on Wednesday in Nairobi CBD area and was whisked to Kiambu Road for further interrogation before held at Muthaiga police station.
He has been working from the DP’s Harambee House Annexe and is alleged to have been at the centre of a ‘fake letter’ that claimed there was a plot to assassinate Ruto.
