Zesco’s Otieno back as Firat Names Harambee Stars Squad

According to Firat the squad will also be warming up ahead of the upcoming CAF and FIFA assignments.

Harambee Stars Coach Engin Firat has named his provisional squad ahead of the much-awaited Four Nations Tournament.

The upcoming tournament is scheduled to be held in Mauritius from June, 11 to June 18, 2023, with Firat naming four new faces ahead of the assignment.

Among the new faces receiving their maiden call-ups to the national team are Simon Masaka (Sofapaka), Kevin Luke Otiala (Kariobangi Sharks), Charles Ouma (Kenya Police), and Moses Shummah (Kakamega Homeboyz).

The tactician has also included the experience of Brian Bwire (Tusker), Robinson Kamura (Kakamega Homeboyz), and Boniface Omondi (Gor Mahia) who make a return to the national team for some time.

With the 30-man provisional squad already named Stars will kick off residential training on Monday, June 5, and are set to depart for Mauritius on June 10, 2023.

According to Firat the squad will also be warming up ahead of the upcoming CAF and FIFA assignments.

However, the Four Nations Tournament offers the perfect platform for players to showcase what they can offer to the national team.

Kenya will be joined by the likes of Mauritius, Djibouti, and Pakistan.
