The Big 5 Construct Kenya exhibition returns to the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi from 5-7 November 2025, for its 8th edition, unlocking opportunities in Kenya’s fast-growing KSh2.58 trillion construction market.
Organised by dmg events, the show will bring together over 150 exhibitors from 20 countries and more than 9,000 industry professionals, including project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials.
Kenya’s construction industry remains one of the country’s most dynamic sectors. According to the World Bank, GDP is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2025, while industry analysts project 7.5% annual growth in construction, backed by new infrastructure and housing projects under the government’s Vision 2030 Construction Industry Development Policy.
“Kenya’s construction sector is gaining real momentum, fueled by ambitious infrastructure programs and nationwide housing initiatives under Vision 2030,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events.
“Big 5 Construct Kenya is at the heart of this growth, connecting decision-makers, innovators, and suppliers to support the country’s evolving construction landscape.”

Global and local branding
This year’s event will showcase advanced building products, technologies, and equipment aimed at meeting Kenya’s modern urban needs. Leading exhibitors include Jaquar, Cleopatra Group, Masa, Stanley Black & Decker, Framecad, Mapei, and Mark Décor, alongside strong delegations from India, Egypt, Germany, Italy, China, and the UAE.
Across 12 product sectors, visitors can explore solutions in building interiors and finishes, concrete and cement, HVACR systems, construction tools, PPE, digital construction, MEP components, heavy machinery, solar technologies, and intelligent building systems.
Heijmans noted that the show “acts as a catalyst for technology transfer and collaboration between international innovators and local stakeholders, helping create partnerships that elevate standards and foster long-term sector growth.”
Reflecting global trends, the 2025 edition will spotlight offsite and modular construction, smart buildings, and sustainable design, echoing Kenya’s drive for environmentally responsible development.
Knowledge-driven CPD sessions
In addition to the exhibition, Big 5 Construct Kenya will host more than 25 free CPD-certified Big 5 Talks, led by over 45 experts from Kenya and abroad. The sessions will address project management, sustainability, technology, engineering, and architecture, offering professionals opportunities for skills development and accreditation.
“The Big 5 Talks empower professionals with insights that inspire innovation and practical solutions across the construction value chain,” Heijmans said.
Major national projects such as the Nairobi, Mombasa Usahihi Expressway and OrPower 22 Geothermal Plant continue to fuel investor interest, underscoring the importance of platforms like Big 5 Construct Kenya in linking markets and driving innovation.
The exhibition’s focus on sustainability, capacity building, and technology supports Kenya’s target to deliver one million housing units by 2027, creating new opportunities for collaboration and investment.
