Kariobangi Sharks will face off with Bandari for the ticket to represent the country in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup after both teams booked a ticket to contest the FKF Sportpesa Shield Cup.
Both clubs were given a great scare by their opponents despite registering good results.
Bandari powered their way to their first final appearance since 2015 by making light work of fellow coastal outfit – SS Assad, with a 6-1 drubbing.
Defending champions Sharks claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win over fellow topflight side Kenya Commercial Bank. Both matches were staged in Machakos.
Sharks, coached by William Muluya, made it after edging well-drilled Kenya Commercial Bank with a solitary goal netted by former Sharks defender Bolton Omwenga, who scored an own-goal.
The final is slated for 1 June.
